Panels are designed as a fit and forget product for civil and structural engineering situations, to cover large areas and trenches where frequent or occasional access is required.
No other covering system matches its easy lift, skid resistance and load carrying properties.

Composite is lightweight and strong. Our trench panels range from BS EN 124 B125 12.5 ton to D400 40 ton load ratings. Panels are a standard width of 450mm. Panel lengths provide solutions for single trench widths from 450mm to 1600mm. For larger areas, additional central support beams can be installed to extend the covering area.
Unlike concrete, they will not crumble or crack. They can carry the load of heavy vehicles including cranes, cherry pickers, delivery and maintenance vehicles. With a minimum lifespan of 15 years, they do not require any maintenance. Panels can be supplied in a range of colours. The colour pigment is mixed with the resin and injected through the entire structure. It will not peel or flake off. No painting is required. Colours are UV stable. Standard colours are grey and black.

Trench Covers are non-metallic, non-conductive and non-sparking. They are excellent insulators against heat and work well covering trenches that contain cable, wire or fluid. They are unaffected by underground gasses and most chemicals, particularly those involved with sewage.
The panel design incorporates two lifting points. This provides easy and safe removal using our specially designed lifting aid. This prevents trapping fingers. The lifting aid allows the operator to pull out the cover without bending over. The weight is kept close to the body preventing back injury.
The deep tread pattern is maintained throughout the lifespan of the panel.
An optional anti-slip compound used on modern high grade road surfaces, can be added to the tread pattern area, to increase anti-slip properties. Please enquire for details.
Panels can be installed on a pre-laid concrete frame or our modular aluminium frame system which is self-keying into surrounding concrete.
